Following the UX course in which I designed this app, I focused on the visual design of key screens.
As an app that facilitates and simplifies the process of flight reservations, the idea of comfort and luxury is expressed by using a background of a rich hue of blue. The other major color is a deep green, also soothing and relaxing. The home screen uses an image of Hawaii, with its universal connotations of luxury, paradise and vacations, with several shades of the same emerald color.
Bright colors are assigned to the user's four travel preferences and flight options, for easy recognition. Their contrast with the darker background scheme allows for instant comprehension. The text is primarily white, allowing for readability with a sophisticated, soothing feel, with a gray shade used occasionally to relieve fatigue.

The design of this website expresses the clean, simple aesthetic which characterizes the work of this architecture firm.
The layout, colors and fonts were chosen to echo the sophistication of the firm's upscale projects, and to represent the same refinement that is evident in the materials, details and fixtures.

Designed for a hypothetical firm, this site showcases the work of an artist specializing in nature photography.
To appropriately frame the art and draw the viewer's attention to the color and quality of the photography, the layout is uncluttered and linear, with ample white space to set off the colors and the textual information in muted grey.
